Accessing quality home health care often begins with understanding insurance coverage and service availability. Solaris Healthcare supports patients and providers by working with multiple insurance partners and delivering care across designated service regions in Texas. This ensures that individuals can receive the support they need without unnecessary confusion or delay.

Why Coverage Clarity Matters

Insurance alignment is one of the most important factors in coordinating care. When patients and families know their benefits are accepted, they can make care decisions with clarity. Healthcare partners also benefit from a streamlined process when they can quickly confirm coverage and service eligibility.

In-Network Insurance Partners

Solaris Healthcare accepts a wide range of in-network insurance plans. These include:
Traditional Medicare, Aetna (delegated through My Nexus/Carelon), Anthem (delegated through My Nexus/Carelon), Amerigroup (delegated through My Nexus/Carelon), Care Improvement (WellMed plans), Cigna (WellMed plans), Humana (Commercial Plans & Medicare Advantage Plans), and WellMed. These partnerships help ensure patients can access care under established coverage arrangements.

Medicare Replacement Plans

In addition to these plans, Solaris Healthcare accepts several Medicare replacement options. Current replacements include UnitedHealthcare (UHC) Medicare Advantage HMO/PPO and UHC AARP plans. These alternatives allow many patients to continue receiving in-network care even when their insurance coverage differs from traditional Medicare.

Service Areas Across Texas

Solaris Healthcare serves multiple communities across Texas, and this information is best shown visually. The service area map included with this article highlights the specific cities and regions where care is currently available. Patients, families, and providers can reference this image to determine whether services are offered in their area.

Bringing Coverage and Care Together

With insurance partnerships in place and clearly defined service locations, Solaris Healthcare makes it easier for individuals to access the home health support they need. For additional information about coverage or service availability, call 888-376-5274.

Note: Out-of-Network (OON) Member Benefits may be required for certain UHC plans.
Third-party billing may be utilized for certain insurances.
Solaris Healthcare can verify benefits for any patient in which an in-network provider may not be available and help determine OON availability. We will review benefits with patient/designee and discuss any out-of-pocket costs upfront. This is to ensure all necessary information and resources have been reviewed for informed decision making. Insurance plan details are reviewed and updated regularly within the agency.
